Data Analyst, Semantic Modelling

Keeper Solutions

• Design and implement scalable enterprise data platforms supporting analytical and financial reporting requirements. • Translate business and finance reporting needs into robust dimensional data models and semantic layers. • Define, document, and govern business metrics such as EBITDA, Gross Margin, and financial variance calculations to ensure consistency across analytics solutions. • Work closely with Back-End and product engineering teams to ensure efficient data pipelines, optimized query performance, and reliable analytics at scale. • Design and maintain data warehouse schemas, focusing on performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability. • Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of the organization’s analytics and data modelling strategy. • Participate in design workshops with finance and business stakeholders to align semantic data models with reporting requirements. • Support product and development teams through MVP and production phases, ensuring data architecture evolves with the platform. • Optimize SQL queries, data models, and analytical workloads to support high-performance real-time reporting and analytics. • Operate effectively within an agile engineering squad, contributing to planning, design discussions, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Mentor engineers and collaborate on data architecture decisions across complex multi-entity or multi-tenant platforms.

Job Requirements

  • Strong expertise in data platform architecture, dimensional data modelling, and semantic layer design.
  • Extensive experience with SQL and relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Solid experience designing and managing data warehouses and analytical data models.
  • Experience with cloud-based data services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics is considered a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the full analytics development lifecycle, from requirements and modelling to deployment and optimization.
  • Experience working closely with finance stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into semantic data models.
  • Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Previous experience mentoring engineers and contributing to data architecture decisions is highly desirable.
  • Good English level.
