Insurance Authorizations Specialist – ABA Services
iSTA Solutions
• Monitor and track client authorization expirations using the internal tracking system. • Identify upcoming authorization renewals and ensure timely follow-up. • Contact insurance providers to verify authorization status and coverage details. • Assist with obtaining and maintaining authorizations for both new and existing clients. • Maintain accurate authorization records and documentation. • Update internal tracking systems, generate reports, and alert teams to upcoming deadlines. • Communicate with internal teams to ensure services remain authorized and uninterrupted. • Provide general administrative support to clinical and operational teams as required. • Follow structured processes while demonstrating initiative and problem-solving in a remote environment.
Job Requirements
- Authorization experience required.
- Insurance or healthcare administration background strongly preferred.
- ABA therapy experience is a bonus but not essential.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple authorizations simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Comfortable communicating with insurance providers by phone and email.
- Professional and confidential handling of sensitive information.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems, email, and tracking software.
