Account Executive – Financial Services

AlphaSense

• Drive net-new business and strategic revenue growth within a defined Financial Services territory • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, managing complex deal structures where required • Build and execute territory and account plans aligned to revenue targets • Conduct executive-level discovery and tailored product demonstrations • Maintain accurate forecasting and strong deal progression discipline • Partner cross-functionally to ensure successful onboarding and long-term account expansion • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform GTM strategy

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS closing experience
  • Strong track record of new business acquisition and net-new logo wins (Across UK, Ireland and Europe)
  • Experience selling into Financial Services (buy side and/or sell side) preferred
  • Comfortable managing medium-to-high velocity pipelines while navigating more complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Skilled in value-based selling, executive-level discovery, and delivering impactful product demonstrations
  • Strong commercial acumen with disciplined forecasting and pipeline management
  • Experienced in carrying six-figure to seven-figure annual revenue targets
  • Effective collaborator across SDR, Customer Success, Product, and leadership teams
  • Confident communicator able to engage stakeholders from analyst to C-suite
  • Resilient, strategic, and motivated by performance-driven environments.

Role Description Abnormal AI is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join its dynamic Sales organization in our Wisconsin region. This team is responsible for driving new business growth by acquiring small to medium-sized customers and expanding Abnormal’s footprint in the market. This is a full-cycle sales role, where the Account Executive will own the entire sales process, from initial prospecting through to deal closure, within a defined territory.
