Lead NMS Engineer
Transaction Network Services (TNS)
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Network Monitoring(NMS) Platform • Establish guiding principles for Monitoring and Observability around NMS • Lead the investigation, due diligence, and design to revolutionize the NMS platform at TNS through intelligent integration of tools and data to benefit IT Service Management (ITSM) and Incident Management backed by Automation. • Document As-Is diagrams of current state tools, monitoring, and event management data flows. • Work with and Collaborate with Architecture Teams to Design and Deliver. • Experience with integrating solutions in a multi-vendor environment, including SaaS environments. • Complete development life cycle experience from design through implementation. • Experience with command-line interfaces, graphical user interfaces, API development and integration, statistical monitoring, and analysis. • Demonstrable record of success designing, delivering and supporting enterprise class, scalable, high availability observability solutions. • Working knowledge of networking practices and automation development. • Self-motivated; Able to work independently or within a team environment, with minimum instruction from management.
Job Requirements
- 10-15+ years of experience running and maintaining Monitoring Platforms like Netreo, Solarwinds, Nagios, LogicMonitor etc.
- 10+ years of experience working with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms like BMC Remedy, BMC Helix, ServiceNow.
- 8+ years of extensive hands-on experience with the configuration, debugging, and problem resolution of complex NMS platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on knowledge sharing and mentorship.
- Certified in applicable NMS platform technologies
- Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

We’re seeking a seasoned Engineer to lead and grow our T&D Engineering & Consulting Division, with a strong focus on transmission planning. This remote leadership role is ideal for a proven technical expert and business leader who thrives on incubating new ideas, managing multidisciplinary teams, and expanding services in power systems engineering. In this role, you will provide strategic and technical oversight for transmission planning studies and initiatives, while working closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry partners to drive business growth. You will support complex system studies, guide long-term grid planning efforts, and build high-performance teams dedicated to transmission and distribution system analysis and development. ***This positions is contingent on contract award*** RMC is hiring for an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) professional to support the safety and health management needs of a large federal agency. This position can work remotely in one of the following locations: Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, and Virginia. This position will require up to 25% travel. Role & Responsibilities: - Perform safety audits, inspections, and evaluations to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions in accordance with regulatory requirements. - Provide safety and health assistance to management, supervisors, employees, and collateral duty safety representatives. - Complete incident reports and enter findings into safety management systems. - Provide specialty safety services and assessments addressing requirements that include ergonomics and industrial hygiene. - Develop and deliver customer training one-on-one, in groups, in classrooms, and via web-delivered media. - Provide outreach to agency employees, promoting safety awareness throughout the organization. - Investigate complaints and reports of unsafe or unhealthful working conditions; provide recommendations for abatement action; and verify completion of abatement action. - Maintain recordkeeping for injury/illness cases in accordance with OSHA requirements.
