Senior Operations Research / Data Science

• Support Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) Big Data (BD) and Knowledge Management (KM) Teams • Conduct data-driven analysis to provide insights from DoD Test & Evaluation data • Enable data-driven decision analysis products using data science and machine learning • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify analytic requirements and questions • Provide technical support and analytics consulting • Conduct applied methods projects and support analysis-ready data creation • Conduct impromptu training sessions with end users.
Job Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Advanced degree in operations research, engineering, applied math, statistics, computer science or information technology
- 12+ years of experience within DoD preferred
- 5-10 years of DoD experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Experience using scripting languages (Python and R)
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks and RMarkdown
- Experience using interactive visualization tools (RShiny, pyShiny, Dash)
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and teammates
- Ability to document and repeat procedures
- Ability to train novice end users on the use of tools.
