Quantum Software Engineer
QunaSys
• Bridge the gap between QURI SDK and quantum hardware and HPC platforms. • Design and execute integration layers for QURI-based algorithms. • Act as the technical lead for partnerships, ensuring performance and correctness. • Build and maintain execution backends for quantum hardware providers and cloud runtimes. • Maintain high-performance Python (and Rust) interfaces. • Own reliability through automated testing and CI/CD for partner backends. • Act as the primary engineering contact for hardware partners.
Job Requirements
- Work authorization : Permanent residence and the right to work in the EU/EEA/UK.
- 3–8+ years of experience shipping production-grade Python.
- Solid understanding of quantum circuits, gates, and hardware constraints.
- Comfortable working with APIs (REST/gRPC), authentication, and cloud-native execution patterns.
- HPC Experience: a strong preference for candidates familiar with HPC workflows or batch schedulers (Slurm)
- Proficiency in Rust for performance-critical runtimes.
- Experience with HPC environments (Slurm, MPI, GPU clusters).
- Compiler Foundations: Experience with IRs, optimization passes, or transpilation (routing, scheduling, gate-set mapping).
- Familiarity with the LLVM/MLIR ecosystem or QEC simulation.
