Project Manager
FairWind
• Overseeing the planning, execution, and performance of assigned operations and maintenance (O&M) projects. • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with FairWind and customer quality standards. • Serving as a key liaison between internal teams, field resources, and customers while maintaining accountability for financial performance, workforce planning, and operational efficiency. • Managing overall schedule, execution, and throughput of assigned maintenance projects. • Monitoring and reporting project status, risks, change orders, issues, and improvement opportunities to the Program Manager. • Overseeing maintenance tooling inventory, calibration compliance, and tooling requirements for awarded projects. • Coordinating logistics, mobilization, and Maintenance Technician (MXT) evaluations in collaboration with the Resource Coordinator. • Partnering with Resource Managers and Coordinators to ensure adequate staffing and technician utilization. • Forecasting labor and resource needs; collaborating with recruiting to support workforce planning initiatives. • Identifying training and development needs to support technician performance and career progression. • Ensuring work quality meets or exceeds FairWind and customer expectations. • Collaborating directly with customers to support ongoing operations and identify future business opportunities. • Supporting bid preparation activities including cost estimates, labor planning, and project scope review. • Administering first- and second-level disciplinary actions related to technician performance and conduct in coordination with HR as required. • Participating in customer meetings (virtual and onsite) as required. • Managing payroll-related activities including new job setup in Paylocity, timesheet review and approvals, discrepancy resolution, and maintenance of the Timesheet Issues List. • Preparing manpower utilization reports and overseeing timesheet accuracy and compliance. • Reviewing and submitting pay advance requests for approval. • Serving as a point of contact for incoming calls from field personnel and customers. • Maintaining documentation related to performance, corrective action, and project compliance. • Ensuring adherence to company safety policies and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in maintenance, field services, or operations management considered.
- 3–7+ years of experience managing maintenance or field service teams.
- Demonstrated experience with project scheduling, workforce planning, and P&L accountability.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and performance management skills.
- Effective communication skills across field, customer, and executive levels.
- Proficiency with payroll, timekeeping, and workforce management systems (Paylocity experience preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience in wind, industrial, or heavy maintenance environments preferred.

What You’ll Do Purpose: Lead end-to-end implementation of Omnicell solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, within scope, and with a high degree of customer satisfaction. As a Project Manager, you will: - Serve as the primary business contact for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle, building strong, trusted relationships and ensuring expectations are clearly understood and met. - Own the project plan and execution, managing timeline, scope, resources, deliverables, and revenue forecasting in alignment with contractual commitments and defined workplans. - Maintain and administer detailed workplans within PSA tools, ensuring tasks, dependencies, and milestones are accurately captured, updated, and communicated to stakeholders. - Provide clear, consistent project communications, including project status reports, customer updates, internal briefings, and executive summaries, tailored to the needs of different audiences. - Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues, facilitating timely problem-solving discussions and, when needed, leading challenging conversations with customers and internal leadership. - Report on key financial and performance metrics, ensuring transparency into project health, forecast accuracy, and delivery outcomes. - Conduct customer risk reviews for internal leadership, providing insight into account health, project escalations, and recommended action plans. - Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Omnicell’s products and solutions, leveraging this understanding to anticipate customer needs and guide effective implementation decisions. - Lead and align cross-functional project teams (e.g., engineering, services, support, sales, customer success) to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in line with customer success criteria. - Define, socialize, and monitor project success criteria, ensuring all stakeholders understand goals, measures of success, and how progress will be evaluated. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Minimum of 2 years of project management and/or healthcare information technology consulting experience, with proven accountability for project delivery. Preferred Qualifications - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. - At least 1 year of experience in healthcare information technology, professional services, or another customer-facing role. - Experience working with PSA or project portfolio management tools for workplan administration, resource planning, and financial tracking. - Background working across cross-functional teams (e.g., implementation, clinical, IT, operations) in a matrixed organization. - Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of project implementations, from initiation and planning through execution, go-live, and closure. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively in a dynamic environment. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and adapt communication style to technical and non-technical audiences. - Solid problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues early, develop options, and drive alignment on a path forward.
