Business Development Representative

• Respond quickly to high-intent inbound leads and run structured qualification to assess fit and intent. • Multi-thread across accounts to uncover stakeholders and map buying committees. • Execute targeted outbound using intent signals, technographics, and ICP alignment. • Build short, personalized outreach sequences to warm up or re-engage prospects. • Partner with AEs on strategic accounts and hand off qualified opportunities with strong context. • Maintain a rigorous funnel in Salesforce/Outreach/HubSpot and share insights to improve the Allbound playbook.

Job Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of SDR/BDR experience (inbound, outbound, or hybrid), ideally in SaaS.
  • Strong qualification and discovery skills — you know how to ask thoughtful questions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication: clear, concise, and human.
  • Highly organized, consistent, and coachable — you execute the fundamentals exceptionally well.
  • Comfortable with outbound fundamentals: personalization, multithreading, and relevance-based outreach.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot, Sales Navigator, and enrichment tools is a plus.

In conjunction with sales leadership, marketing and product management, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating, developing and qualifying new leads for the sales organization through telephone, email and product launch campaigns. The Business Development Representative team will work together to achieve a target number of qualified leads in a given year, set forth by sales leadership and described in the Sales Incentive Plan. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training. Lead follow up, development and qualification. Cold calling and through follow up with internal and external customers. Qualify all leads generated by HealthStream's website, trade shows and inbound telephone inquiries. Summary The Manager Service Delivery [Technical Development Manager – Batch (MMIS Medicaid Domain)] oversees daily operations of the development team for the a Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) Contract, with deep expertise in the SDLC—particularly requirements through development.
