As a Software Intern, you will work on an Agile development team within the Content domain, responsible for building, testing, and deploying data ingestion tools and components to support EBSCO products and services for our customers. As a member of an Agile development team, you will design and develop software in 2-week iterations as part of an Agile Release Train developing to a SAFe Program Increment. What You'll Do An ideal Software Intern will learn to approach software development holistically, gaining hands-on experience in system design and implementation. Application Development - Perform requirement analysis and develop API designs, database schema. - Develop application code using React JS, NodeJS, Java, Spring Boot, REST API, and test cases with documentation. - Use AWS services such as RDS, Lambda, S3 etc., to design and deliver the solution. - Use GitHub for source code management. Documentation - Contribute to project documentation, including API specifications, deployment instructions, and troubleshooting guides. Collaboration and Communication - Actively participate in team meetings and team chats, including daily stand-ups, iteration planning, and retrospectives. - Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on progress and challenges. - Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and best practices in software development. - Work closely with senior developers to understand coding standards, agile processes, and project management techniques. About You Education & Experience Must be enrolled in an educational or professional program through Summer 2026 or later. Understanding of C++, Java, Python, or any other object-oriented programming language. Understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures, algorithms, design patterns/practices   Ability to design and implement code using Functional and Object-Oriented JavaScript, SCSS, and HTML5 Ability to develop SaaS software using modular, reusable JavaScript components and data visualizations   Experience in software engineering (internships, co-ops, bootcamps, or academic projects count). Exposure to developing applications using React JS, Node JS, Java, and REST APIs Foundational understanding of cloud concepts (compute, storage). • Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements and implement solutions • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks • Collaborate with QA teams to troubleshoot issues • Stay current with emerging trends in iOS and integrate industry best practices • Actively participate in agile development processes

• Design, configure, and deploy CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) and UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) solutions tailored to credit union environments • Integrate Eltropy's AI Voice 2.0 voicebot and AI Assistant products with client telephony systems including SIP trunks, PBX, and IVR platforms • Partner with Onboarding Managers to execute technical onboarding for new credit union clients, including network assessments, call flow design, and go-live support • Troubleshoot and resolve telephony infrastructure issues across SIP, VoIP, and cloud PBX environments • Document client telephony configurations, escalation paths, and network topology in internal systems • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to identify and communicate client-reported issues, feature gaps, or integration improvements • Support QA testing of voice agent configurations, including DTMF routing, warm/cold transfer flows, and bilingual (English/Spanish) language persistence • Develop and maintain internal technical documentation, runbooks, and client-facing configuration guides • Advise clients on telephony best practices, compliance considerations (NCUA, CFPB), and security posture relevant to financial institutions.
