Job Description

Residential HVAC Technical Trainer

WaterFurnace International

• Conduct residential HVAC technical training • Prepare for training class • Instruct training classes • Assist with hands-on lab sessions • Administer tests • Maintain class records and databases • Assist in creating new training class curriculum and materials • Review all training manuals and ensure that printed materials are updated • Review all training PowerPoint slides and identify and correct shortcomings • Update all training parts kits and materials as necessary

Job Requirements

  • Five or more (5+) years of ground source heat pump service and installation experience
  • High level of competency with Microsoft PowerPoint for in-person and online training
  • Previous instructor experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs. – 50 lbs
  • Ability to teach/instruct adults in an enthusiastic and engaging manner
  • Excellent listener with professional verbal and written communication skills.
