Job Summary: We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and deliver exceptional commercial audio-visual (AV) solutions across the Western United States for our SurgeX brand. The ideal candidate for this sales manager role will have a high sense of urgency to create the best possible customer experience. The sales manager will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization, communication, and written skills and exhibit attention to detail. Problem solving, excellent judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple projects with a "can do" attitude are key strengths that will ensure success in this high-profile sales position. Ideal candidate will live in the Western U.S. Key Responsibilities: - Lead sales efforts across the Western region, managing relationships with new and existing partners. - Conduct product and sales training for distribution, integrators, dealers and end-users (sales, engineering, executive). - Identify client training needs and maintain ongoing communication to ensure and facilitate sales of multiple products through calls and personal visits. - Develop marketing strategy and tactical plans aligned with business objectives. Provide sales management information. Provide analysis and marketing/training assessment needs to support SurgeX sales plans. - Maintain customer database and prioritize activities to meet monthly goals. - May participate as a speaker in seminars/training sessions of sales representatives, technical teams, or at industry events as needed. - Work with senior management to define and execute plans for outreach to end users to pull sales through the existing dealer network. - Participate in regional and national events. - Travel is expected to be 50-75%. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. - 5+ years of commercial audio-visual (AV) industry sales experience. - Ability to travel up to 75% as required. - Lift from 50-100lbs and ability to setup/tear down tradeshow booths. Desired Qualifications: - Experience with commercial AV distribution channels. - Customer relationship management (CRM) system experience for pipelines and reporting. - Ability to build strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders. - Experience using data to forecast trends and adjust tactics proactively. - Salesforce, Microsoft Suite and Power BI experience. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport. - Proficiency in industry technology, including current control systems. - Strong organizational skills to manage independent rep force. - Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
