M365 Copilot Engineer
BMO U.S.
• Design, build, deploy, and maintain enterprise integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot services into BMO’s IT infrastructure • Ensure AI-powered systems function efficiently, securely, and seamlessly alongside existing technology • Plan and coordinate the rollout of Copilot solutions with robust security controls and disaster recovery options • Develop and test connectors for internal tools and data sources to extend Copilot capabilities • Manage Copilot Studio access and coordinate proof-of-concept activities for emerging Copilot technologies • Validate compatibility and compliance of Azure Copilot features with BMO’s requirements • Research and act on Azure Advisor recommendations to improve cloud performance • Develop and leverage AI-driven automation tools to create internal solutions that streamline Azure operations • Monitor and manage the security posture of Copilot services
Job Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, cloud services, or software engineering
- Foundational knowledge in network routing, switching, and security
- Configuration management and systems administration
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure library (ITIL) basics
- Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles
- IT automation mindset (Digital First)
- Ability to build and manage relationships
- Adaptability and continuous learning
- Intermediate knowledge in virtualization and virtual machines
- Proficiency in operating systems & platforms (Windows/Linux)
- Experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud platform administration
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Familiarity with quality assurance and control processes
- Understanding of identity and access management (e.g. Azure AD/Entra ID)
- Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
