Financial Planning Analyst – 12 Month Contract
Circular Materials
• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for the IT Organization • Lead the development and consolidation of the annual operating and capital budgets • Prepare quarterly reforecasts based on actuals, updated project timelines, and changes in business priorities • Monitor monthly spend across operating and capital accounts • Track financial performance of approved projects including budget, actuals, forecast to complete, and variance analysis
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- 3 to 7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting, with direct support of IT or technology organizations preferred
- Experience working with ERP(i.e. SAP) systems
- Strong financial modeling experience including scenario analysis and multi-year planning
- Familiarity with software licensing models, subscription-based services, cloud consumption billing, and enterprise agreements

• Develop a deep understanding of our business drivers, P&L levers, and performance management processes to serve as a trusted partner across the department and firm. • Produce accurate monthly and quarterly reporting packages (income statement, balance sheet, cashflows) and deliver analytics, variance analysis, and lender reporting on a GAAP and Proforma basis. • Lead annual budget planning, managing information flow across business lines and providing actionable analysis to improve forecasting and planning. • Build and maintain detailed financial models, dashboards, and ad hoc analytics to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making. • Partner closely with Revenue Operations to navigate Salesforce.com data needs; collaborate effectively without role overlap. • Serve as administrator for Adaptive Planning and OfficeConnect: building reports, troubleshooting, and developing new views to improve usability. • Design automated, scalable processes (coding/scripting as needed) to manage large, cross-functional datasets across Revenue, ACV, and Headcount. • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, streamline reporting, and improve data accuracy and governance. • Drive multiple projects simultaneously while meeting recurring reporting deadlines, demonstrating reliability, problem-solving, and high-quality delivery. • Create executive-level presentations to summarize results and deliver clear, value-added insights. • Generate monthly analytics and variance analysis for each member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to help manage spending and performance, identifying trends and partnering with departments to provide insight and further assessment/analysis when appropriate. • Ensure consistent, reliable work by checking work, communicating status/progress, fully understanding the deliverables, showing a clear understanding of what is represented in the work product, and formulating value-added insights.
