Business Development Representative

• Leverage proven prospecting techniques to initiate contact with prospective new clients • Generate interest in a discovery meeting with an established Sales Executive • Identify multiple contact points within a supplied list of targets and position the value proposition of our products and services to entice the prospect to learn more about the company through a discovery meeting • Conduct online research to better understand the prospect and contact points’ business objectives to better position our services • Generate a high-value sales pipeline through both strategic and targeted prospecting • Collaborate with the sales team to develop a list of target prospects • Develop and run a pipeline of prospects and provide top-class customer experience • Effectively & smoothly transition a lead to the sales team following the first discovery meeting • Actively utilize Salesforce for all activities related to Lead Generation • Meet with Sales Leaders to evaluate strategy
Job Requirements
- 2 Year Associate's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of sales and telemarketing experience with an emphasis on cold calling
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other sales technology tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated proficiency in prospecting techniques and lead-generation strategies
- Experience using multiple channels for outreach, including email, phone, and social media
- Strong research skills for identifying potential clients and understanding their business needs
- Ability to handle objections and maintain a positive attitude in the face of rejection
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and evolving sales strategies
- Professional demeanor and a customer-focused approach to business development
