Assertive Yield B.V.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Go microservices using FastHTTP, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers • Build and optimize distributed client-server architectures that run across customer infrastructure • Implement real-time ML inference integration with models in C • Create robust data ingestion pipelines feeding into the Data Warehouse for analytics and ML training • Optimize systems for sub-millisecond response times under high load • Monitor production systems using Prometheus, structured logging, and custom metrics • Contribute to architectural decisions for scalability and maintainability • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following Go best practices • Document system design, APIs, and operational runbooks • Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate models into production systems
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience
- 3+ years of production Go development with a deep understanding of the language
- Strong experience building distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Proven track record of building high-performance, low-latency systems (< 100ms response times)
- Experience with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and modern API design
- Production experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

Your role in our mission Take a close look at some of the details that contribute to Gainwell’s industry-leading tools and technologies in this challenging position. - Design, development, testing activities - Supporting the full life cycle of development processes for creating services - Investigating and resolve complex business and technical product integration matters of significance - Focusing on a specific product or family of technologies in multiple platforms - Functioning independently within a business area and assists at the enterprise level to influence the technical decisions during various phases of the project. - Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs: - C on Unix and Linux - Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL. - Healthcare IT Systems – Claims - Batch job automation and notification services - Complex SQL development and query tuning - Assists in the modification of company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet the needs of the client and/or end-user. - Gathers information from the system, analyses program and time requirements, and prepares documentation to change existing programs. - Research and analysis of existing systems and program requirements, under periodic supervision. - Designs programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs. - Writes specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity. - Assists in resolving production support problems. - Develops and suggests alternative approaches to resolving problems. - Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
