This team member is responsible for leading the systems administration function, overseeing core infrastructure, identity management, and endpoint strategy while developing a high-performing IT team. This role will be responsible for setting the vision and execution of scalable, secure, and efficient IT operations, ensuring alignment with business growth and operational needs. What You Will Do:  - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Systems Administrators, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement - Own and execute the roadmap for identity and access management, endpoint management, and core systems (Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365) - Oversee and deliver complex, cross-functional IT initiatives from planning through execution and post-implementation support - Drive automation efforts (e.g., PowerShell, scripting) to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes - Establish and enforce IT standards, policies, and best practices to enhance system reliability, scalability, and security - Manage the full endpoint lifecycle, including provisioning, deployment, patching, compliance, and security enforcement for a distributed workforce - Lead vendor management activities, including evaluation, procurement, contract coordination, and optimization of SaaS platforms (e.g., Atlassian, Paylocity, Greenhouse) - Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution, root-cause analysis, and long-term remediation - Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, People, and Operations teams on integrations, architecture decisions, and process improvements - Track and report on key performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs) to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence What You Have:   At Synapse Health, we’ve intentionally built a culture rooted in kindness, collaboration, and creativity, qualities we consider essential for every team member. Additional requirements include: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience - 7+ years of experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, or related roles, with 2+ years in a leadership or team lead capacity - Proven experience administering Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Intune, and Microsoft 365 in a production environment - Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems - Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences - Demonstrated analytical skills when problem-solving, including root-cause analysis and solution design - Demonstrated high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy - Strong experience leading technical projects, including planning, stakeholder communication, and execution - Experience managing endpoint environments, security policies, and device lifecycle operations  What Sets You Apart:  - Experience managing network infrastructure such as Meraki or similar platforms - Exposure to Apple device management tools (e.g., Kandji) - Experience administering or optimizing Jira and related workflows - Hands-on experience managing vendor relationships and SaaS ecosystems - Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or other regulated environments - Advanced experience with automation, infrastructure-as-code, or complex scripting beyond basic task automation Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $110,400-138,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions. JOB OVERVIEW ACF is seeking a Grants Associate to join our Grantmaking team. The Grants Associate will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operations of the Grants Team, focusing on managing client communications, maintaining data workflows, and ensuring seamless execution of assigned tasks. This role involves overseeing a high-volume email inbox, managing outgoing correspondence, and maintaining strong client relationships through personalized service. The Associate will assist with client account setups, data entry, report generation, and bulk grant uploads, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. With a focus on client satisfaction and operational efficiency, the ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Additionally, the associate will leverage their technical expertise to guide clients through software platform walkthroughs and support database management efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES Client Communication and Support - Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering timely, and solutions-focused responses to inquiries. - Manage high-volume shared inboxes, triaging and prioritizing requests to ensure responsive, values aligned and consistent client service. - Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through personalized engagement and high touch service. - Anticipate client needs, troubleshoot challenges, and identify opportunities to enhance overall client service experience. - Support administrative requests, including data requests, form completion and audit-related administrative work. - Assist clients with account setup, grant program enrollment and onboarding to grantmaking programs and software platforms. - Provide technical guidance and software platform walkthrough, ensuring clients feel confident navigating tools and processes. Team Operations - Support the management of outgoing correspondence including ACH enrollment, outreach and grant award notification, with attention to clarity and client experience. - Perform daily, weekly, or monthly repeatable tasks with high efficiency and attention to detail, ensuring consistent quality and timely completion: including data entry, report generation, and bulk grant uploads. - Codify best practices and procedures around client engagement and correspondence. - Work closely with other members of the Grants team to execute weekly grant runs, strengthen client relationship management, and engage in grant program development. SALARY & BENEFITS The starting salary for this position is $64,000 and is commensurate with experience. This position will be remotely based, but will require domestic travel, as needed, including the Foundation’s retreats.
