About Jerry.ai More than 80% of Americans own a car and see it as a fundamental necessity, yet the experience of owning one is stuck in the 90s. Every part of the user journey (shopping for a car, insurance, repairs, etc) is complicated, fragmented, expensive and time-consuming. At Jerry.ai, we are building the first mobile app to manage it all. We are the #1 rated and most downloaded app in our category with a 4.7 star rating in the App Store and we have more than 5 million users! About the Opportunity Our insurance marketplace is our core product today, and our ability to automate the end-to-end shopping experience is our main differentiator and our quoting engine makes all of this possible. As the sole Product Manager on our Quoting team, you will own what our customer actually sees when they shop for insurance in our app. Your challenge will be to lead the high-profile integrations and ensure our systems deliver the most accurate, lowest-cost quotes in seconds. This is a highly technical, "full-stack" product role where you will manage complex backend integrations while obsessing over frontend marketplace outcomes like conversion and quote success rates. How You’ll Make an Impact - Drive Carrier Integrations: Own the end-to-end process of launching new insurance carrier partners and products, often working directly with external insurance carrier teams to stand up integrations. - Optimize Marketplace Performance: Improve our quoting system logic, eligibility rules, and coverage matching to ensure customers receive the maximum number of competitive quotes. - Own the Funnel: Diagnose where customers drop out of the quoting journey and implement technical or UX solutions to improve the quote success rate. - Ensure Data Accuracy: Maintain the integrity of our underwriting inputs to ensure the prices we show are accurate, protecting both the customer experience and our loss ratio. - Scale with Speed: Maintain our competitive advantage by keeping median quote latency between 5-15 seconds, ensuring a reliable and "instant" feel for the user. Who You Are - Technical & Detail-Oriented: You have 4+ years of experience in technical product management, management consulting, or data analytics. You have extreme attention to detail and can get deep into the weeds of API documentation and rating logic. - Marketplace Thinker: You understand how backend technical performance (latency, accuracy) directly impacts consumer behavior and marketplace conversion. - Data-Driven: You are comfortable diving into the data to answer your own questions. You will live in your KPIs, tracking Quote Success Rates, Conversion, and Loss Ratios daily. - Superb Communicator: You can bridge the gap between engineering, insurance specialists, and external partners, translating complex technical hurdles into clear product roadmaps. - Passionate about AI: You use AI to automate your day-to-day, you’re an early adopter, and you want to be at the vanguard of leveraging it at scale to deliver outstanding, personalized customer experiences. While we appreciate your interest and application, only applicants under consideration will be contacted. Jerry.ai is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. We prohibit discrimination based on race, religion, color, national origin, sex, pregnancy, reproductive health decisions or related medical conditions, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or other characteristics protected by applicable local, state or federal laws.
