• Own your territory: Take full ownership of the DACH SMB & Mid-Market sales pipeline — from prospecting and outbound outreach to closing new business and growing existing accounts through up-selling and cross-selling opportunities. • Lead the full sales cycle: Manage every stage of the pre-to-post client lifecycle, including discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, contracting, and successful handover, ensuring a seamless experience at every touchpoint. • Educate and consult: Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, helping them understand how Goodnotes can solve real business challenges and deliver measurable value across their organisation. • Build lasting relationships: Develop strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and champions across key accounts in the DACH region, including in-person engagement at local events and industry conferences. • Drive revenue growth: Identify and convert new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, social selling, partner and reseller channels, and inbound leads — consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly targets. • Represent the voice of the customer: Gather structured feedback from prospects and clients on use cases, pain points, and feature requests, and channel these insights back to our Product and Research teams. • Leverage data to prioritise: Analyse territory and account data to make informed decisions about outreach cadence, deal prioritisation, and pipeline health — using HubSpot CRM as your single source of truth. • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to align go-to-market activities, support localised campaigns, and ensure smooth customer onboarding in the DACH market.
Job Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a client-facing sales or account management role at a B2B SaaS company preferably start up experience.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
- Native or business-fluent German (written and spoken) and strong English proficiency.
- Deep understanding of the DACH business landscape, buying culture, and enterprise procurement processes, industry experience in public sector & construction is welcome
- Exceptional communication skills — confident in written outreach, live demos, presentations, and executive-level conversations
- Ability to clearly articulate a value proposition and handle objections with empathy and confidence
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline and multiple concurrent priorities
- Experience with HubSpot CRM or comparable CRM platforms
- Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region for client meetings, events, and conferences
- Familiarity with AI tools and workflows as part of a modern sales motion is a strong plus

About the role The Account Executive (AE) drives growth within an assigned portfolio of named customers by achieving bookings objectives derived from organizational strategy.
