• Analyse asset, inspection, and maintenance data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement • Apply best-practice approaches to asset data structures, data flows, and preventative maintenance planning • Configure and implement data structures in IBM Maximo, including job plans, service plans, and maintenance schedules aligned to engineering standards • Work with field service partners, GIS, and integration teams to ensure data flows correctly from project design through to field execution • Support data migration, transformation, and validation to improve quality, completeness, and consistency • Document data models, processes, and data capture points to support handover to BAU teams • Collaborate with engineers, lifecycle managers, and change leads to embed data best practices into everyday workflows

Role Description The Operational Data & Reporting team within USRM Data Office is seeking a Senior Data Solutions Analyst focusing on delivering best in class data & reporting solutions and insights for a range of stakeholders within our Independent Agency Distribution reporting team. - Provides, builds and maintains data solutions to meet the needs of our business partners and ensures these solutions can be scaled appropriately. - Independently works on highly complex assignments and prototyping/developing data solutions that meet the needs of the organization and business customers. Coding scalable proof-of-concepts and solutions. - Designs proof-of-concept solutions utilizing an advanced understanding of multiple coding languages to meet technical and business requirements with an ability to perform iterative solution testing to ensure specifications are met. - Acts as a technical leader and mentor for the team, providing assistance & guidance to lower-level team members. - Designs and develops data solutions that enable effective self-service data consumption and can describe their value to the customer. - Influences strategic thinking across the team and the broader organization. - Identifies and utilizes best practices and iterative testing to ensure requirements are met. - Prioritizes efforts based on customer value and can set expectations for deliverables of high complexity. - Able to lead projects and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective project execution. - Assists in the creation of roadmaps for data solutions and turns vague ideas or problems into a data product. - Ensures data solutions include activities and deliverables required to achieve high data quality and displays a strong understanding of complex, multi-tier, multi-platform systems, applying principles of metadata, lineage, business definitions, compliance and data security to project work. Qualifications - Strong written and oral communication skills required. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline preferred. - Master's in same or related disciplines strongly preferred. - 3-5 years experience in coding for data management, data warehousing, or other data environments, including, but not limited to, working in NoSQL implementation, ETL, Java, scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell), and the Hadoop stack.
