Role Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize our enterprise infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for core datacenter technologies including storage systems, SAN, virtualization platforms, backup solutions, and disaster recovery capabilities. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills. Duties and Responsibilities - Infrastructure & Platform Operations - Administer and support enterprise storage platforms (primarily Pure Storage or equivalent) - Manage Storage Area Network (SAN) environments utilizing Cisco Nexus switches or similar technologies - Support server virtualization platforms including VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V - Perform and support P2V and V2V migrations - Maintain Dell physical server hardware and related infrastructure components - Backup, Replication & Data Protection - Administer backup and recovery solutions (primarily Veeam or equivalent) - Support data replication and high-availability strategies - Participate in disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution - Perform system and data restorations as required - Data & System Migration - Plan and execute infrastructure-level data migrations - Support system upgrades, consolidations, and platform transitions - Ensure minimal operational disruption during migration activities - Monitoring & Reliability - Support infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance analysis - Proactively identify capacity, performance, and stability risks - Contribute to reliability and operational improvement initiatives - Operational Excellence - Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation - Participate in incident response and root cause analysis - Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and stakeholders - Provide infrastructure support for on-premises hosting environments Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline - Minimum 10 years of infrastructure/datacenter engineering experience - Strong hands-on experience with: - Enterprise storage systems - SAN networking concepts - Virtualization platforms - Backup and recovery solutions - Physical server hardware - Experience with infrastructure monitoring and operational troubleshooting - Demonstrated experience with data migration activities - Strong documentation and technical writing skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong customer service orientation Requirements - Experience with: - Pure Storage platforms - Cisco Nexus switching - VMware and/or Hyper-V environments - Veeam Backup & Replication - Dell enterprise server hardware - Experience supporting DR design and testing - Industry certifications strongly preferred, such as: - VMware (VCP / VCAP) - Microsoft (Azure / Windows Server / Hyper-V) - Cisco (CCNA / CCNP) - Storage / Backup vendor certifications - Note: Direct experience with our specific technology stack is beneficial but not mandatory. • Maintain Verkada camera and alarm systems across all sites, ensuring device uptime, health, and analytics functionality. • Manage alarm schedules, codes, cleaning crew access, and response configuration. • Collaborate with Verkada support to resolve device bugs, firmware issues, and platform inconsistencies. • Coordinate with ADT and other vendors to maintain alarm and access control hardware at select locations. • Design indoor and outdoor camera and alarm layouts based on unique site needs. • Manage installation timelines with project managers.

• Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications • Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure • Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals • Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future • Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors • Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices • Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements • Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success • Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals • Interact with customers and vendors.
