Intermediate Software Engineer – Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python
Dev.Pro
• Drive integrations, validate data, and collaborate with internal teams, client stakeholders, and vendors to ensure accurate metrics and dashboard outputs across multiple systems • Plan, design, and maintain integrations between internal systems (Jira, ServiceNow, BigQuery, SonarQube, APM tools) and a data/metrics platform • Validate vendor-delivered features against requirements and document gaps • Investigate internal systems, APIs, and data flows, and report findings • Participate in vendor calls and internal standups, summarizing technical outcomes • Contribute to creating and maintaining architecture documentation • Support testing and validation of metrics and dashboards • Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development experience with a broad engineering background across Java, Python, or similar stacks
- Strong experience designing and building system and API integrations
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and data integration patterns
- Comfort working with vague, evolving, or incomplete requirements
- Systems-oriented mindset with a focus on integrations
- Ability to investigate unfamiliar systems and document findings independently
- Strong communication skills, including technical discussions with vendors
- Proactive ownership without reliance on detailed specifications
- Experience working in approval-driven, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments
- Upper-Intermediate English level
- Experience with ETL, event-driven, or API-based data integrations (Desirable)
- Familiarity with GCP (Desirable)
- Experience integrating enterprise tools (ticketing, source control, code quality platforms) (Desirable)
- Exposure to APM, observability, or security scanning tools (Desirable)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps metrics (Desirable)
- Fintech background (Desirable)
- Experience with platform ecosystems and metrics (Desirable)
- Vendor management or stakeholder alignment experience (Desirable)
- Frontend development experience (Desirable)
