Senior Full Stack Engineer – m/f/d
Dedalus
• Implement features and address defects based on requirements provided by the product team. • Collaborate closely with team members and other stakeholders to ensure well-designed and accurate solutions. • Ensure quality and smooth delivery of code changes with industry best practices as pull requests-workflow and comprehensive continuous integration. • Develop automated tests to ensure the stability, scalability, and high-quality standards of the software. • Stay informed on the latest advancements in software engineering and the healthcare domain, contributing to continuous improvement. • Grow into being an expert in healthcare, hospital imaging and radiology workflows with proficiency in standards like FHIR and DICOM
Job Requirements
- A university degree in computer science (or related degree) and/or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of professional experience with backend frameworks in the Java ecosystem, such as Quarkus, Spring Boot or similar technologies.
- Experience with reactive web frameworks for building Single Page Applications (SPAs), such as Angular, React or Vue.js.
- Experience with microservice architecture, design patterns, cloud-native principles, and software engineering best practices.
- Profound experience with persistence technologies, such as JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Comfortable using standard developer tooling, including Git, Java build systems, and the Linux command line
- Hands-on experience in agile development teams
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Experience in writing automated tests (unit tests, integration tests …)
- Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in containerization with familiarity in Kubernetes and/or Docker for deployments.
- German language knowledge
