Job Description: Remote Actuarial Analyst – Insurance Product Filing We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to support the filing of hazard insurance products with state Departments of Insurance (DOIs). The ideal candidate will combine actuarial expertise with regulatory knowledge to ensure compliance and streamline the filing process. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and prepare actuarial justifications and supporting documentation for insurance product filings. - Ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements, including documentation for rate and rule filings. - Monitor and interpret state-specific DOI regulations, bulletins, and guidelines related to hazard insurance. - Develop responses to DOI objections and questions, ensuring timely approvals. - Maintain detailed records and documentation for audit and regulatory purposes. - Identify and recommend improvements to filing processes and actuarial models. Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 3–5 years of actuarial experience, preferably in property and casualty (P&C) insurance. Strong knowledge of state regulatory requirements for insurance product filings. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
