The team Our Recruiting Team is nestled within our People Ops organization and is a dedicated group committed to assembling exceptional teams that fuel Route's success through innovative sourcing strategies, deep industry knowledge, and a genuine passion for connecting talent with opportunity. The opportunity Route is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to join our Talent Team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will support full-cycle recruiting across various departments, contributing to an elite, fast-moving team. You will manage and prioritize searches across multiple functions while adhering to timelines, and bring a strong service-oriented approach to every stakeholder interaction. Contract Type: Contractor Duration: 6 months Hours: Hourly, 40hrs max per week Location: Utah / Remote What you’ll do - Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and non-technical roles, from sourcing and screening through to offer extension. - Candidate Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage top talent through job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and craft effective recruitment strategies. - Candidate Experience: Maintain clear communication and timely feedback to ensure a positive candidate experience that reflects Route's values and culture. - Screening and Interviewing: Conduct phone screens, assess candidates for skills and cultural fit, and coordinate interviews with the appropriate team members. - Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings using active and passive sourcing techniques. - Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire to support continuous process improvement. - Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and company policies, maintaining accurate records throughout. What we’re looking for - 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the software or technology industry. - Proven track record filling both technical and non-technical roles. - Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other sourcing platforms. - Experience with ATS platforms, specifically Greenhouse, Goodtime, and VicTig. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to build relationships quickly with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders. - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously. - Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal ramp-up time.
