Consultant, Citrix/Azure
Solvenio GmbH
• Consulting & conception • Analysis of existing Citrix infrastructures and development of optimization and modernization strategies • Advising our clients on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix DaaS and Citrix Cloud Services including NetScaler • Creating architecture concepts for hybrid and cloud-native Citrix environments on Azure • Conducting workshops and technical presentations at client sites • Designing and implementing Citrix solutions (on-premises, hybrid, Azure-based) • Migrating existing Citrix environments to the Azure cloud (Citrix Cloud, Azure Virtual Desktop) • Integrating Citrix with Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking (VNet, ExpressRoute) and Azure Security Services • Technical support as part of our Citrix Managed Services • Performance monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization of production Citrix environments • Performing updates, patches and upgrades • 2nd/3rd level support for complex technical issues • Evaluating new Citrix and Azure features and their potential for our clients • Creating and maintaining best-practice documentation • Conducting training sessions and workshops for clients • Support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues • Developing and implementing Citrix best practices
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification (e.g. IT specialist in system integration)
- Several years of professional experience as an IT consultant, ideally focused on Citrix technologies
- Solid knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix NetScaler and Citrix Cloud / DaaS
- Confident handling of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory and PowerShell
- Very good German (C1 or C2) and English skills, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
- High initiative and a solution-oriented working style
- Citrix certifications (e.g. CCA-V, CCP-V, CCE-V) are a plus
- Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) are a plus
