Telecel Liberia
• Proactively sell Telecel Liberia’s FTTH and Microwave services to households and businesses. • Generate leads through door-to-door sales, referrals, and local networking activities. • Present and explain service packages, pricing, and benefits to potential clients to drive subscription sign-ups. • Recruit and maintain monthly targets of at least 80 new clients, ensuring consistent progress toward the overall project goal. • Collect complete and accurate client information for smooth onboarding and service activation. • Maintain daily sales records, including leads generated, customer visits, and confirmed subscriptions. • Submit weekly progress reports to management detailing: Leads generated Sales closed and active subscriptions Pending installations Field observations and customer feedback • Track performance against agreed KPIs and flag potential issues to management. • Participate in weekly review meetings to evaluate progress and adjust strategies as needed. • Performing other administrative and operational tasks required by management when needed.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in field sales, preferably in telecommunications or internet services.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have access to a smartphone or device for reporting and client data entry.
- Experience in related fields, such as customer service, marketing, sales, communications, or sociology
- High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, sales, administration, management or related fields
- Advanced Certificate in customer service, sales, marketing, psychology, or Sociology (added bonus)
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, including negotiating with potential clients regularly and answering questions
- Patience and Listening Skills
- A strong understanding of how to initiate, promote and win service contracts
- A pleasant demeanor and the ability to smile and engage with potential clients in a warm, friendly manner.
- Additional soft skills in sales and marketing are an added benefit to the position
