Senior BackEnd Engineer – Python
Prometeo Talent
• Own and evolve the codebase, from development to deployment, observability, and security. • Build systems that interpret task descriptions and design docs (Jira, Confluence, Docs). • Use LLMs to detect insecure code patterns and deviations from best practices. • Create and maintain APIs powering the UI and internal services. • Build secure connections with Atlassian, Google Workspace, GitHub, and support enterprise auth. • Design and manage databases to keep our product fast and reliable. • Ensure low-latency, high-availability systems for enterprise-level users. • Use IaC, CI/CD, automated testing, and agile workflows (Kanban).
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL
- Experience working with automated CI/CD pipelines and tooling
- Advanced - Upper intermediate level of English
- Nice to have: Experience with FastAPI, Asyncio, or AnyIO
- Nice to have: Terraform experience
- Nice to have: Familiarity with AWS Serverless solutions (ECS, Lambda)

Role Description Atuação no desenvolvimento e evolução de serviços backend em ambiente cloud, suportando arquitetura moderna. - Atuar no desenvolvimento e evolução de serviços backend em ambiente cloud, suportando arquitetura moderna; - Conduzir a migração e modernização de um recorte do Sistema (Sigla) J5, originalmente desenvolvido em COBOL, para uma aplicação moderna em Python na AWS Cloud; - Desenvolver APIs e serviços backend; - Apoiar integrações com sistemas internos e externos; - Garantir qualidade de código e testes; - Trabalhar em conjunto com times de frontend e arquitetura. Qualifications - Experiência com desenvolvimento de serviços backend; - Conhecimento em ambientes cloud, preferencialmente AWS; - Domínio de Python para desenvolvimento de aplicações modernas; - Experiência em migrações ou modernização de sistemas legados; - Conhecimento em desenvolvimento de APIs; - Vivência com integrações entre sistemas internos e externos; - Práticas de qualidade de código e testes; - Facilidade para atuar em conjunto com times de frontend e arquitetura.
