UX Architect
Leidos
• Develop and implement UX strategies that align with business goals and user needs. • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions. • Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps to visualize design concepts. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into actionable design solutions. • Collaborate with the development team to provide implementation and style guidance to ensure functionality is consistent in experience and maintainability to meet requirements. • Ensure consistency and adherence to design standards, guidelines, and best practices. • Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility standards throughout the development lifecycle. • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve UX processes. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and UX professionals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience)
- 8+ years experience supporting User Interface development and architecture
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or Axure RP
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Strong understanding of Salesforce UX concepts including LWC, re-usable components, re-usable Apex backend components, and other Salesforce concepts.
- Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first principles
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferred)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms
- Requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential space to work from and reliable high-speed internet
