Vanta
• Lead and execute projects with multiple stakeholders to build collaborative platform features used across Vanta's product • Design and build high-quality, reusable APIs and UI components that other engineering teams easily adopt • Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver cross-cutting features • Participate in on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and respond to incidents • Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor engineers to elevate team practices • Contribute to Vanta's engineering culture and technical direction as we scale
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience with strong fullstack capabilities
- Proven experience building user-facing features and platform services consumed by other teams
- Experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and modern web technologies
- Technical leadership experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, and driving architecture decisions
- Platform or internal tools experience building for developer customers
- On-call and production operations experience
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Bias for action and comfort working in ambiguity within fast-growth environments
- Interest in learning about security and compliance or prior experience in the space
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
