• Building and owning frontend trading interfaces using TypeScript and Svelte (or equivalent modern frameworks) • Implementing fullstack features, including backend API development in Rust, Go, or Python • Optimizing performance across frontend and backend (CDNs, SSR, real-time data systems) • Owning frontend security, including secure coding practices, XSS/CSRF prevention, and deployment/DNS configuration • Implementing fullstack security measures such as SQL injection prevention, JWT authentication, and WAF configuration • Maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and end-to-end test automation
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of fullstack development experience using modern technologies, with strong understanding of both frontend and backend performance optimization
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and extensive experience with: Svelte (preferred), React, Vue, or similar modern frameworks
- Backend or fullstack experience strongly preferred to ensure a well-rounded engineering skillset, although the role remains primarily frontend-focused
- Strong proficiency in SQL and extensive experience working with relational databases
- Advanced knowledge of frontend and fullstack security, including: XSS / CSRF prevention, JWT authentication, WAF configuration, SQL injection prevention

For more information, visit www.side.inc. About the role Side is looking for a Software QA - Manual Mobile Tester to test mobile apps and ensure top quality. You’ll write and run test cases, find and track bugs, and check how apps work with hardware and firmware. The role involves testing on iOS, Android, and web, using tools like Splunk, and working with Wi-Fi, BLE, and protocols like MQTT. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other QA artifacts, including test data, data validations, and automated scripts. - Collaborate with development and product teams to understand product changes and design effective test strategies. - Execute manual (white-box and black-box) and exploratory tests, ensuring comprehensive functional coverage. - Identify, thoroughly document, report, and track bugs through resolution. - Perform thorough regression testing after bug fixes. - Monitor and analyze system logs, crash logs, and backend traces (e.g., Splunk) to investigate issues. - Liaise with internal teams to understand system requirements and ensure quality deliverables. - Flash firmware onto embedded devices and validate firmware versions as part of the QA process. - Verify and test interactions between embedded firmware, hardware, and client applications (iOS, Android, Web). - Set up and validate connectivity using Wi-Fi, BLE, or Ethernet technologies. - Test and debug device-to-client communication using protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, RTSP, among others. - Stay up-to-date with emerging tools, frameworks, and QA strategies. - Support CI/CD practices by integrating QA processes into the development pipeline. Requirements - Minimum 3 years of testing experience working with crash logs, system logs and backend traces. - Understanding of how embedded firmware interacts with hardware and client applications (iOS, Android, Web). - Experience with flashing firmware and validating firmware versions on devices. - Working knowledge of Wi-Fi, BLE, or Ethernet setups. - Familiarity with communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, RTSP, etc.) used between firmware and client. - API testing knowledge and experience - Candidate must reside within Brazil with legal right to live and work in Brazil. - Bonus Experience: Any API testing tools l(Postman, etc.) and front-end (mobile/web app) experience is highly desirable.
