Distribution Segment Manager

Amphenol TPC Wire & Cable

• Identify and establish relationships with strategic distribution partners to accelerate sales growth. • Develop customized strategies and action plans that align with customer-specific needs, goals, and preferences. • Design solutions that address unique challenges and leverage opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. • Build and maintain relationships with influential distributor personas to uncover opportunities and expand stock package offerings at Distribution Centers (e.g., MV cable, VFD cables, etc.). • Lead distributor corporate-level engagements, including business reviews, presentations, and Special Pricing Agreements (SPAs). • Partner with the ATPC training team to develop a continuous education program for distributors, driving market share growth and brand recognition. • Collaborate with Product Management to identify growth opportunities through distribution by gathering market insights, analyzing product demand, and recommending product enhancements. • Work closely with the Marketing Department on strategic initiatives, co-branding efforts, and training material development to increase ATPC brand awareness. • Communicate and collaborate with ATPC’s sales team to develop effective sales approaches and maximize market share through distribution.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in distribution sales, business development, or strategic account management.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with key distribution partners.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement customized solutions.
  • Experience in conducting business reviews, presentations, and negotiations with corporate-level distributors.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, training, and product management teams.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in the electrical, industrial, or manufacturing sector is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial distribution, engineering/technology or related degree or equivalent experience.
