Role Description We are looking for a senior/intermediate network engineer to support and manage complex network infrastructures for our client. The role involves: - Datacentre network operations - Network security - Transport and backbone networks - Advanced troubleshooting in critical environments The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco-based technologies, firewall management, and high-availability network architectures. They will work closely with internal teams and technology vendors in a fully remote setup. Qualifications - Proven experience in operating and supporting complex network environments - Strong knowledge of datacenter networks, network security, and transport networks - Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting in critical environments - Fluency in written and oral communication in Portuguese (mandatory) - Fluency in written and oral communication in Spanish (highly valued) Requirements - Manage and operate data center network infrastructures, ensuring high availability, resilience, and service continuity - Perform connectivity tests and technical validations and support Unified Communications and Identity/Access Control solutions, including Cisco CallManager and Cisco ISE - Implement and manage network security controls, including firewall rule configuration and incident support across Cisco, Fortinet, and Check Point environments - Operate and monitor transport and backbone networks (IP/MPLS and DWDM), ensuring performance, stability, and redundancy - Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex network incidents, collaborating closely with internal teams and technology vendors, including Nokia and Cisco Benefits - Our company does not sponsor work visas or work permits. • Build and test supported vendor reference architectures in Gluware's physical and virtual lab environments • Document working reference architecture implementations used in production enterprise networks • Translate vendor architectures into the Gluware orchestration engine via dynamic data modeling • Contribute code and fixes to the Gluware platform to support enterprise customer automation needs • Collaborate with Gluware Software Architects and Engineering on automation supporting reference architectures and vendor platforms • Partner with Pre-Sales and Sales teams, advising on automation approaches for enterprise, campus, and cloud architectures • Stay current on major network and cloud vendor architectures, products, and evolving AI/ML capabilities relevant to network automation • Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, LLM-assisted scripting) to accelerate development, code review, documentation, and troubleshooting workflows • Execute on directed strategy and solve challenges efficiently and effectively

• Ensuring the business logic and call flows remain intact throughout the migration. • Managing the carrier porting, SIP trunking, and infrastructure configuration. • Support the collection and management of customer requirements (RFS), including attending customer pre-project discussions to represent network and telecom. • Support the process of developing ROMs (project estimates), defend the ROM and solicit formal ROM approvals • Support the direct implementation of small network and/or telecom projects, including the development and management of project plans • Assist in the on-boarding of external resources to support larger projects or to support a large number of projects. In addition, provide oversight to the 3rd party engineering resources to assist with the implementation of the project(s). • Provide monthly reporting data for all project activities. This role will act as a mentor to lower roles, and support a continuous process improvement activities. • Working with their manager and/or director, this role will help provide individual and team goals to the management to be used in the annual performance management tool, Additional responsibilities include assisting in the training of new hires. • Support the design, development, documentation, implementation and operation of the network and telecom systems, including prototypes into the production environment Project management • Understands basics of project management, timelines and critical path Budget awareness • Understanding of project budgets including understanding of basic finance treatments and timings Dependability and Time Management • Completes assigned tasks on time and predictably.
