Senior Network Engineer Location: Remote (United States) Travel: Up to 25% Job Type: Full-Time Department: Information Technology – Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Reports To: Director of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Compensation Range: $115,000-$135,000, Eligible for 15% AIP Bonus Annually Position Summary Cordia is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, secure, and support enterprise and operational technology (OT) networks across the organization. This role is responsible for reducing technical debt, architecting secure network solutions aligned to the Purdue Model and CIS18/SANS5 security compliance, and ensuring the reliability and security of Cordia’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a senior-level engineer who can lead complex network initiatives, partner effectively with managed service providers (MSPs), and drive timely resolution of network issues in a remote, highly distributed environment. Key Responsibilities - Lead efforts to identify and eliminate technical debt across business and OT networks - Design and architect secure, scalable network solutions supporting enterprise and plant environments - Maintain network segmentation and controls aligned with the Purdue Security Model - Administer patching, firmware updates, and lifecycle management for all network equipment - Maintain accurate network diagrams, topology maps, and technical documentation - Serve as escalation lead for network incidents, coordinating with Cordia’s MSP partners to ensure timely resolution - Establish and enforce network standards, best practices, and documentation requirements - Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and plant IT/OT teams to meet security and availability requirements - Support network modernization, security, and operational improvement initiatives - Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related, equivalent certifications and relevant work experience - 7–10 years of experience in network engineering - Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale, multi-site networks - Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills - Strong Project Management skills - Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs) - Ability to work independently in a remote environment - Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting enterprise and industrial networks (OT) - Familiarity with IT/OT security models, including Purdue Model, CIS18 and SANS5 - Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Network+, Security+, or equivalent - Firewall and network security platform experience (Cisco) Cordia Beliefs - Safety: Protecting our people, communities, and assets through a safety-first mindset - Talent: Building and developing a highly skilled, diverse, and collaborative workforce - Value: Creating meaningful value for Cordia and our customers - Collaboration: Communicating openly, directly, and with integrity - Accountability: Taking ownership, solving problems, and following through - Customers: Treating customers as partners and serving them with excellence - Sustainability: Supporting reliable, efficient, and responsible energy solutions Work Environment & Physical Requirements - Remote position with periodic on-site presence at Cordia facilities - Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods - On-site work in plant or business office environments

Job Summary Communicates back and forth with Waste Management Drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route for residential, commercial and roll-off lines of business. Handles incoming service orders, directs drivers, and resolves service issues. Interacts with customers that includes Waste Management customer service, sales, and operational staff (i.e. Route Managers, Mechanics etc.). Uses Waste Management proprietary software to manage same day ticket routing as well as preparing all routes for the next day. Shifts vary with the potential for overtime and Saturday hours depending on each Market area dispatch center needs. Some travel (up to 15%) may be required to work face to face with sites dispatcher/router is responsible for. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. - Routing Focus - Works with sites and the service department to optimize routes based on needs of the customer. - Dispatches drivers to calls as they are received, using information on customer needs, drivers’ locations and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and customer satisfaction. - Determines the daily level of driver staffing to provide best mix of responsiveness and productivity. - Assigns routes and service tickets to appropriate drivers throughout the day and for the next day; manages and determines route actions and assuring route completion. - Handles fields incoming calls and e-mails from customer service and sales department; manages requests for all pick-up or delivery on any container movement within the Market area. - Initiates communication to customers while drivers are on-site/location, resolving pick-up and other issues delaying the service. - Troubleshoots and resolves potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues. - Ensures same-day service on missed pick-ups by managing the routing for all routes and tracking driver movement in the field.
