What You'll Do - Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for positions under the corporate recruiting responsibility area including exempt level field based positions with little to no guidance ensuring a smooth experience for the hiring team and candidates - Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR Partners and partner with them to gain full understanding and each position and set expectations for the recruitment process - Effectively communicate to all involved parties including business leaders, hiring managers, HR Partners, agencies, and candidates including managing candidate expectations and ensure feedback is provided timely - Develop and maintain relationships with candidates to build applicant pool and seek referrals from other candidates - Proactively source candidates online when needed using partners such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and Google - Manage SuccessFactors ATS including requisitions, postings, and candidates - Begin salary negotiations and in accordance with approved salary grades, company goals, and candidates’ expectations, bring candidates to offer acceptance - Partner with hiring team to build job profiles and other marketing materials that support recruitment activities as needed - Assist in metrics reporting to analyze various pieces of the recruitment process - Collaborate with other Talent Acquisition team members on TA initiatives and bring ideas in a compelling manner that gains commitment from others What You'll Need - Minimum 5 years full life-cycle recruiting in both corporate and agency environments with a minimum of 1 year of experience with an agency - Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment strongly preferred - Experience with SuccessFactors ATS strongly preferred - Experience using the Internet for research (Boolean savvy) preferred - Exceptional interpersonal, research, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal) required - Strong customer facing skills with ability to build effective relationships across the business required - Self-motivated with ability to prioritize, manage a large workload, and effectively manage change in a fast-paced environment - Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams - Highly organized with a focus on details and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines Your Education - Bachelor or Associate Degree preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry. What you’ll be doing What will your essential responsibilities include? - Act as a consultant to HR and the business, delivering thorough and thoughtful guidance on compensation matters, including policies, procedures, the company's compensation philosophy, market pricing, internal equity, job evaluation, and job structure. Your insights will enable AXA XL to effectively recruit and retain top talent. - Partner with HR business partners, executive leadership and senior business owners on complex compensation initiatives, including large-scale redesigns, incentive plans, and pay equity projects. Develop tailored compensation strategies that support business growth. - Collaborate with the HR Business Partners team and the business to ensure adequate support and information for planning, analysis, and review. Prepare complex compensation offers ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity. - Translate complex compensation and workforce data into clear, compelling narratives that support executive level decision making - Maintain awareness of emerging AI and data analytics trends to continually enhance compensation strategies and processes. Drive automation of routine compensation processes through AI and technology solutions, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy. - Increase the use of analytics and insights to diagnose issues, elevate options and recommend solutions tied to business outcomes - Support the overall planning and execution of the annual compensation cycle including HR Business Partner and manager training. - Participate in the design and implementation of the compensation tool (HCM Cloud) and serve as a key resource for HRBPs and managers regarding system inquiries and troubleshooting. - Work alongside HR and managers on pool modeling, distribution, colleague recommendations, and management reporting. What you will BRING We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have relevant HR/Compensation experience. - Typically requires moderate level of relevant experience, including progressive compensation experience - Previous Financial Services experience and ideally knowledge of the insurance sector is preferred. - Extensive analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced working knowledge of MS Excel. - Possess professional skills and good judgement to establish trust and rapport at all levels of the organization, including Senior HR and Business Leaders. - Ability to work independently and lead initiatives as required, demonstrating effective project and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and competing priorities - High degree of attention to detail with the ability to develop techniques for compiling, preparing, and presenting data. - Experience with using market data and various surveys globally. - Effective comprehension of local compensation issues and trends, with a working knowledge of global understanding preferred. - Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM or similar cloud-based HCM product knowledge preferred. Experience with AI/ML tools, data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), or predictive analytics is a plus. - Capable of negotiating and influencing at all levels, including the ability to add value to senior level negotiations. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective consultative/client service skills. - Experience working within a globally matrixed organization. What You’ll Do Benefits & Retirement Administration - Support the administration of employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and more) - Support and manage our 401(k) plan, including enrollments and vendor coordination - Lead open enrollment initiatives and employee communications - Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and related regulations - Reconcile and validate benefits invoices HR Operations & Process Improvement - Help design and implement scalable HR processes - Manage the full employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding) - Maintain accurate employee records and documentation - Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency HR Systems (HRIS) - Maintain and optimize HR systems and workflows - Ensure data accuracy and integrity across platforms - Support system improvements and reporting (headcount, analytics, etc.) Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure compliance across federal, state, and local regulations - Monitor regulatory changes and support audits - Maintain required policies and documentation across multiple states Payroll Coordination - Partner with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate data and deductions - Support multi-state payroll compliance - Assist with reporting, audits, and reconciliations Employee Support - Be a trusted point of contact for employees - Guide employees through benefits and HR systems - Help create a smooth and positive employee experience What You Bring Required: - 4–7 years of experience in HR operations, benefits, or HR generalist roles - Experience supporting multi-state U.S. workforces - Strong knowledge of benefits administration and 401(k) plans - Solid understanding of HR compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, etc.) - Experience with HRIS systems and data management (previous experience in Paylocity is a big plus!) - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Nice to Have: - Experience in multi-entity or post-merger environments - Open enrollment and vendor management experience - Payroll collaboration across multiple states Who You Are You are a detail-oriented and proactive HR professional who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
