Job Summary This job generates, prospects and qualifies Enterprise segmented opportunities through outbound cold calling, emailing or lead generation. It plays a key role in the growth and expansion of Comcast Business Services and its product offerings. Opportunities are transferred to field sales executives to finalize sales of Managed Solutions products for Mid-Market and Enterprise businesses. It conducts high-level conversations with senior executives about business and marketing issues and operations. Has developed specialized knowledge/skills in own area. May act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Job Description Core Responsibilities - Conducting thorough research on prospects to identify their specific security needs, pain points, and decision-makers - Qualifying leads by understanding their business requirements and matching them with our security solutions and services - Generating a consistent pipeline of opportunities through outbound cold calling, email campaigns, social networking and lead follow-up over the telephone. Passing the opportunity to the field to complete the sale to Mid-Market and Enterprise businesses - Staying current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging security technologies to better position our solutions to prospects - Attending sales training sessions and participate in team meetings to continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge - Meeting and exceeding all assigned sales quotas and achieve targeted customer experience scorecard metrics. Engaging executives in targeted prospect accounts and orchestrating discussions with senior executives around their business needs - Managing the customer through lead generation, pipeline management, organization, effective communication and solid listening skills. Scheduling meetings and product demos for the sales team with qualified prospects - Consulting with business contacts at all levels of their organization including IT Directors, CIOs and CEOs on their business application. Soliciting referrals for potential new prospects - Collaborating with sales teams to develop strategies for engaging and nurturing leads, targeting strategies for specific industries, regions, or clients - Providing feedback to marketing and product teams from prospect and customer interactions to help refine messaging and improve product offerings - Resolving customer issues quickly and striving to reach resolution on the first call or escalating issues appropriately - Updating and maintaining prospect database and opportunity funnel on a daily basis. Assuring management of prospect database and assuring customers' orders are fulfilled - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of prospects, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system - Managing multiple activities simultaneously including interacting with customers while using multiple software applications for research and documentation - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
