• Analyse the quantitative and qualitative data collected through the Community-Based Pesticide Action Monitoring (CPAM) research methodology • Produce a high-quality research report on pesticide and herbicide use in the rice value chain • Transform the data from surveys, FGD and KII into clear, evidence-based findings and recommendations • Document types and magnitude of pesticide use, health and social impacts, gender and social differences in exposure and practices, policy and practice implications • Collaborate with Oxfam and partners to clarify any issues arising from the data collection and data entry • Draft and write the final research report • Support validation of findings
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree in public health, social sciences, environmental studies, or related field
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in research, data analysis, and report writing
- Proven experience with mixed-methods research
- Strong understanding of pesticide, agriculture, health, or environmental issues
- Experience working with NGOs or community-based research
- Excellent analytical writing skills in English
- Familiarity with CPAM or similar participatory methodologies
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or Cambodia
- Understanding of gender and social inclusion analysis
- Knowledge of agroecology or sustainable agriculture debates.

Description ICF is seeking a Senior/Lead Writer/Editor to work on a CDC project. The selected candidate will work across several contract tasks to provide writing/editing leadership for a team of writer/editors across reports, meetings, conferences, etc. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced Writer/Editor who will lead the development, writing, editing, and consultation on the design of content for use in deliverables. As an experienced, motivated Senior/Lead Writer/Editor, you will: - Employing the principles of plain language, write and edit materials on a variety of complementary and integrative health-related topics (public health-focused). - Function as Senior SME for writing, grammar, and writing mechanics across CDC, partners, and fellow contractor team members on deliverables. - Assist contract leadership at ICF and partner in management of day-to-day team operations and support related to writing/editing across project deliverables. - Assist in the coordination and tracking of tasks across the team or writer/editors and backups. - Create meeting summaries for CDC branch or division-level meetings. - Provide review and final quality checks as needed for materials developed and submitted to the team. - Collaborate with contract leadership and fellow contractors to improve documentation processes and best practices. - Have a “work until it’s good” mindset. We are a team with lots of projects and this position will work with almost all of the contract task activities. Basic Qualifications: - 5 years of experience developing, reviewing, and editing a variety of work products.
