Epic Analyst, Pharmacist – Beacon, Willow, Clinical Decision Support
VCU Health
• Partner with the application team while working collaboratively with our customers • Implement and maintain EHR systems and databases to ensure optimum performance • Assist with design and performs builds that are appropriate for users’ needs • Perform project management for Pharmacy technology initiatives by developing, managing, and driving accountability to meet established goals and deadlines • Communicate risks and issues, while providing status updates
Job Requirements
- Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy
- Three years to six years hospital pharmacy experience
- Epic Willow Inpatient Certification and experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the inpatient environment and clinic based operations, procedures/functions and the relationships between them and the hospital
- Knowledge of physician practice/healthcare professional services, billing requirements, hospital administration and/or processes
- Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other professional staff when discussing drugs and drug related problems
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Degree
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited academic program preferred

• Conduct the baseline research and to prepare summary reports for cases and projects to support customer needs. • Collect, analyze and evaluate research information using a variety of media, litigation, government databases, (listed) company public records, Internet, and proprietary databases of major newspapers and relevant media outlets. • Perform qualitative background research on the requested companies / individuals and their related associates in accordance with relevant SOPs. • Identify relevant risks (including PEP, sanctions and adverse media), discrepancies and any information of the clients’ interest. • Meet the customer specific requirements of all research and report writing. • Meet production and quality standards for completing assignments. • Work and contribute to a team-oriented and collaborative environment. • Adhere to and comply with all applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-bribery, as well as adhering to company policies and procedures and client requirements.
