• The DevOps Engineer will drive the automation, reliability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and software delivery processes. • The DevOps Engineer will bridge development and operations by designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability and observability of production systems, and championing automation to accelerate secure software releases. • The DevOps Engineer collaborates closely with Systems Analysts, SMEs, and Business Units to build resilient, cloud-native systems that support rapid iteration while maintaining enterprise-grade security, performance, and cost efficiency. • Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using modern tools to automate build, test, security scanning, and deployment processes with zero-downtime strategies. • Implement and manage container orchestration, microservices deployment, and scaling strategies. • Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to enable proactive incident detection and rapid resolution. • Automate repetitive operational tasks, reduce toil, and improve system reliability through scripting, tooling, and process optimization. • Optimize cloud resource usage, implement cost controls, and contribute to capacity planning and performance tuning. • Work cross-functionally to define and evolve platform standards and self-service capabilities for developers. • Stay current with emerging DevOps, cloud, and observability technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

• Design and implement a multi-region AWS architecture and lead the development of modular Terraform libraries to automate provisioning across diverse geographies • Architect self-healing infrastructure using advanced cloud load balancing, auto-scaling patterns, and Multi-AZ database topologies to ensure high availability • Modernize CI/CD pipelines and implement Blue/Green and Canary deployment strategies to ensure zero-downtime upgrades for a continuously running global network service • Build comprehensive SRE dashboards and implement intelligent alerting frameworks to detect regional outages or capacity exhaustion before they impact customers • Monitor cloud resource utilization and implement scaling policies that perfectly balance performance requirements with cost-efficiency

• Design, develop, and manage infrastructure using Terraform with AWS services. • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to enable efficient deployment processes. • Manage AWS resources, including VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, ECS, and Kubernetes. • Apply 'shift-left' security practices, integrating security into the development lifecycle and enforcing security standards and frameworks. • Build, manage, and orchestrate containers using Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes. • Develop and automate scripts in Python and Shell for operational tasks and infrastructure maintenance. • Implement monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance; optimize infrastructure for cost and efficiency.

• Working across development, operations, and security teams to ensure applications and infrastructure are secure, compliant, and resilient, while maintaining speed and efficiency in deployment. • Lead the evolution of the software delivery lifecycle by embedding security into every stage of the CI/CD pipeline. • Integrate existing automation frameworks with AI-based solutions to improve coverage, reliability, and efficiency. • Ensure that all AI scripts and programs are fully executable on postal-issued laptops within approved security and environment constraints. • Perform Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST/DAST), integrated into pipelines. • Collaborate with software developers and IT staff to oversee code releases and deployments. • Design and implement scalable cloud architecture using platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure. • Manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible for automated provisioning of infrastructure. • Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Jenkins and Git. • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate communication between applications. • Maintain databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server. • Participate in Agile development processes to improve software delivery cycles. • Troubleshoot issues across the application stack from front-end to back-end services. • Manage and secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes). • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with secure configurations using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. • Monitor and respond to security incidents, leveraging SIEM tools and observability platforms. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS). • Provide training and guidance to teams on DevSecOps best practices.
