DevOps Engineer II
Skeelo
• Manage cloud environments, ensuring their efficiency and security • Serve as the technical infrastructure reference for the squad's developers • Automate provisioning, deployment, and scalability of the software infrastructure • Respond to incidents following agile methodologies and DevOps culture • Ensure services are dynamically scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant • Develop and maintain monitoring frameworks, alerts, and anomaly detection • Analyze system performance and propose solutions for bottlenecks and other technical issues • Ensure all systems have secure and up-to-date configurations • Measure and estimate infrastructure costs and required upgrades
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of automation/scripting languages: Bash, Shell, Golang, Ruby, Lua, Node.js, or Python
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with distributed cloud systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including benchmark testing
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, and SonarQube
- Experience with AWS services: API Gateway, EC2, ECS, ECR, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems and server/network configuration
- Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of monitoring and log management (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus), including backup and recovery
- Expertise in load balancing, subnet design, network protocols, service mesh, and troubleshooting
- Experience with CloudFormation, Cognito, and Step Functions
- Experience with APM tools and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience implementing CI/CD architecture
- Experience with system vulnerability analysis tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with Rancher, Kubernetes, EKS, Fargate, Istio, App Mesh, or Consul (preferred)
- Knowledge of advanced security, infrastructure, and networking practices (OWASP, patching, hardening) (preferred)
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation (preferred)
- Knowledge of information security: encryption, certificates, and key management (preferred)
