Role Description This is a Virtualization Server Hosting Engineering position in Enterprise Technology. - Virtualization Hosting service enablement - Capacity Management - Conduct capacity planning and forecasting for the platforms, including Compute/Virtual Machine (VM), memory, storage, and network resources, to ensure scalability and prevent resource exhaustion. - Analyze resource utilization trends and make recommendations for infrastructure scaling, consolidation, or optimization. - Collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to understand future demand and project capacity needs. - Develop and maintain capacity models and reports to support strategic planning. - Automation & Efficiency - Develop automation solutions (scripts, playbooks) for repetitive VMware/OSV tasks, including configuration changes, VM management (like snapshot removal), auditing, remediation and integration with ticketing systems. - Leverage automation to enable delivering operator updates and changes efficiently at scale. - Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices to improve overall platform stability, performance, and operational efficiency. - Role Based Access Control deployment and auditing. - Namespace and Resource Quota management (CPU, Disk and Storage). - Observability, Monitoring, logging and Troubleshooting - Implement and maintain comprehensive end to end observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing) for the VMware/OSV environment, including integration with tools like Dynatrace and Prometheus/Grafana. - Explore and implement Event Driven Architecture (EDA) for enhanced real time monitoring and response. - Develop capabilities to flag and report abnormalities and identify "blind spots" in observability. - Perform deep dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), potentially utilizing available tooling, to quickly identify and resolve issues across the global compute environment. - Find the needle in a haystack/unhealthy bit in the compute universe (Globally) for faster time to resolution. - Monitor VM health, resource usage, and performance metrics proactively. - Monitor for unusual activity that might indicate a compromise or misconfiguration. - Solution Design & Consulting - Provide technical consulting and expertise to application teams requiring VMware/OSV solutions. - Design, implement, and validate custom or dedicated OSV clusters and VM solutions for critical applications with unique or complex requirements (e.g., specialized appliances). - Knowledge Management - Create, maintain, and update comprehensive internal documentation and customer facing content to facilitate self-service and clearly articulate platform capabilities. - Support - Participate in L1 – L3 level support to Operations teams environmental related issues. Monthly after hours and weekend work will be required. Company Description

• Direct management of complex network fiber projects • Oversee delivery of ISP fiber infrastructure for Customer Data Center build • Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and Customer • Provide project status updates to internal leadership and Customer • Develop, maintain, and manage master project schedule • Coordinate daily and weekly work activities across teams • Conduct ongoing risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning • Plan and manage workforce requirements • Oversee financial performance including budget tracking and forecasting • Manage procurement processes and prepare Change Orders • Ensure project documentation and compliance requirements are maintained • Monitor quality, safety, and performance standards • Apply project management methodologies aligned with PMP framework • Drive issue resolution and keep project on schedule and budget

• Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget and in compliance with applicable quality standards • Manages the strategic aspects of projects and identify, analyze and minimize/mitigates any risk, including the implications of difference technical and operational choices. • Communicates effectively with clients to successfully manage the relationship, identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies. • Develop and maintain Project Plans and timelines for their project and track progress • Working with the Finance & Accounting team to analyze profitability, revenue, margins and utilization across their projects. • Manage the resource allocation, on the project, in collaboration with respective line managers

• Adhere to project management disciplines and standards related artifacts (i.e. project plans, issue/risk logs, status reports, meeting materials, decision & change logs, impact and stakeholder analysis and more). • Coordinate and lead internal resources project team for streamlined execution of projects. • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress. • Perform root cause analysis on identified problems. • Assist in the development of communication and change management plans. • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. • Ensure resource availability and allocation. • Manage a collection of projects within a portfolio working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure success. • Manage projects independently and escalate issues to management as appropriate. • Measure and report project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. • Prepare project level status reports and other management reporting demonstrating the progress, schedule, scope, risks, and change management for the assigned portfolio. • Provide oversight to other project managers and with stakeholders executing within the assigned portfolio, ensuring project adherence to lifecycle guidelines and processes. • Work closely with cross-functional Project Management teams, Product leaders and senior stakeholders throughout the organization.
