Role Description Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global Environment, Health and Safety, the EHS project specialist is an individual contributor role in the Fuel Manufacturing organization. This role is critical to the safe and environmentally responsible implementation of Fuel Manufacturing projects across the entire project life cycle, and acquisitions. This is a fully remote role that may require travel to a site on occasion. - Provide technical assistance and support for EHS issues within assigned areas. - Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure support. - Develop and implement written documentation on EHS requirements and reporting for projects. - Monitor regulatory and internal EHS program changes for their effects on projects. - Develop and deliver EHS training to project participants. - Track the implementation of EHS policies, procedures, training and risk assessments for projects. - Assist projects with internal EHS reporting. - Develop data management practices using tools such as PowerBI, Qualitech (CAP), EHS software. - Conduct / facilitate EHS inspections and audits, partner with sites to implement corrections, controls and implementation. - Present data related to projects to support monitoring to improve projects. - Participate in EHS compliance and EHS management system audits. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: - Engineering degree strongly preferred; other disciplines considered with relevant CTG experience. Experience: - Demonstrated experience with combustion turbine and generator maintenance, including planned inspections, outage execution, and evaluation of unplanned maintenance events. - Strong understanding of CTG maintenance schedules, inspection intervals, and methodologies, including borescope inspections, combustor inspections, hot gas path inspections, major inspections, and generator inspections. - Experience developing, administering, interpreting, or supporting Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) for CTG assets, including: - Planned and unplanned maintenance provisions - Covered parts definitions and exclusions - Cost caps, risk allocation, and collateral damage concepts - OEM service scope and performance obligations - Experience supporting or participating in LTSA negotiations, amendments, or commercial discussions is preferred, but not required if accompanied by strong CTG technical expertise. - Experience working directly with OEMs and service providers (e.g., GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or equivalent) in maintenance planning, outage execution, or contract administration. - Ability to lead cross‑functional teams including engineering, legal, supply chain, finance, and plant operations. - Fleet‑level SME experience supporting multiple units or sites is preferred.
