• Lead the analysis, documentation, and implementation of protection strategies for generation and transmission systems. • Review and analyze protective relay settings to ensure proper coordination margins in accordance with NERC PRC standards and recommend setting changes as needed. • Document relay coordination in compliance reports. • Model primary and secondary systems using industry-leading tools such as ASPEN, PSS®E, and PSLF. • Perform system disturbance analysis to recommend protection system improvements. • Utilize advanced microprocessor-based digital transient recorders and sequence-of-event recorders to support detailed system performance analysis. • Conduct special short-circuit studies and perform complex calculations to establish relay settings. • Interact with manufacturers, regulatory bodies, and professional organizations such as IEEE and NPCC to remain current on evolving protection and control requirements.

• Serve as the subject matter expert and company resource for steam turbine consulting projects • Interpret project objects and develop actionable plans to ensure schedule and hour targets are met or exceeded • Prepare for client meetings and lead discussions, demonstrating technical expertise in turbine and generator engineering • Assist management with business opportunities, conferences, and training sessions • Interface with industry organizations such as EPRI • Travel requirement of up to 10-15% for site visits, client meetings, and conferences

• support the detailed electrical design of utility-scale and large C&I BESS yards • perform and review cable sizing calculations for MV and LV power, control, and grounding systems • develop, review, and support protection schemes • prepare and review one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, cable schedules, grounding plans, and electrical layouts • coordinate with EPC contractors and OEMs to review technical submittals • ensure designs comply with NEC, IEEE, UL 9540 / 9540A, NFPA 855, IEC and applicable AHJ and utility standards

Role Description We’re looking for a Fire Damper Engineer to join our growing team at Indepth Hygiene Services, a PTSG company specialising in fire damper inspections and commercial deep cleaning services. - Carry out planned annual fire damper inspections across the South West. - Ensure vital life safety systems are in top working order. - Use our digital system “Boris” to record findings, capturing evidence and reports on site. - Inspect up to 40 dampers daily, with bonuses of £5 per damper above your daily target. Qualifications - Experience in fire damper inspection, ventilation or HVAC work preferred. - Full UK driving licence. - Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS. - A practical, can-do attitude and good physical fitness.
