Assistant Project Manager – Contractor

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc.

• Lead battery storage system projects from initiation through installation, commissioning, and closeout • Stakeholder Management: Attends customer meetings & responds to RFIs • Contract Management: Understands parts of contract, Helps Lead PM with the kickoff tasks • Project Controls (Financial and Schedule): Tracks when vendors, HQ, 3rd party need to get paid • Technical Design & Engineering Support: Has minimal understanding of AEROS, Battery, PCS products • Commissioning: Supports Cx coordination activities, attends daily PODs and supports the team as needed • Risk Management: Identifies risks & alerts Lead PM

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in a technical discipline is preferred
  • PMP Certification or demonstrated competency in managing complex projects is a plus
  • 4+ years of Project Execution experience required
  • Experience with electrical equipment or power/utility/renewables market is a plus

Role Description As part of our CDS Ophthalmology team, you will be working alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals. The Senior Project Manager will have the overall responsibility for managing projects in accordance with company policies, SOPs, regulatory requirements in addition to financial and contractual obligations. - Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget and in compliance with applicable quality standards. - Manage the strategic aspects of projects and identify, analyze, and minimize/mitigate any risk, including the implications of different technical and operational choices. - Communicate effectively with clients to successfully manage the relationship, identify needs, and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies. - Develop and maintain Project Plans and timelines for their project and track progress. - Work with the Finance & Accounting team to analyze profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization across their projects. - Manage resource allocation on the project, in collaboration with respective line managers.
