Senior Mobile Software Engineer

Role Description Due to continuous growth, our Mobile Development Team is excited to welcome a Senior Mobile Software Engineer who will own end-to-end delivery of iOS and Android applications using AI tooling as a core part of the workflow, not an afterthought. This is a full-ownership role. You write the code, make the architectural calls, and ship the product. AI is your force multiplier; Product is your partner. - Own end-to-end delivery of mobile products: from architecture to App Store and Play Store release - Write production-quality iOS applications in Swift and SwiftUI - Own Android delivery on your projects in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose - Using AI tooling to bridge platform-specific gaps where needed - Maintain and evolve the AI development stack: rules, skills, agents and workflow automation - Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Designers to define scope, surface tradeoffs, and keep delivery predictable - Build and maintain lightweight backend services and integrations when projects require it - Make independent architectural decisions, with Staff Engineers available as technical partners Qualifications - Strong depth in native iOS development - Deep understanding of Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Apple development best practices - Solid Android fundamentals: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Play Store delivery - Strong architectural judgment: you design systems that scale and know when simplicity is the right call - Actively uses AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude-Code, Codex, or equivalent) as a core part of your daily workflow, not occasional use - Strong communication skills: you work directly with Product, push back when needed, and set realistic expectations Requirements - Product intuition: you think about the user experience, not just the implementation - Experience building or maintaining internal developer tooling or automation - Familiarity with lightweight backend development (REST APIs, third-party integrations) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices Benefits - Flexible career path with personalized internal training and an annual budget for external learning opportunities - Flexible schedule with flextime and the option of working fully remote or from our Barcelona office - Free Friday afternoons with a 7-hour workday, plus a 35-hour workweek in July and August - Competitive salary, full-time permanent contract, and top-tier private health insurance (including dental and psychological services) - 25 days of vacation plus your birthday off, with flexible vacation options—no blackout days! - Office perks such as free coffee, fresh fruit, snacks, a game room, and a rooftop terrace with stunning Mediterranean views
