Role Overview We are seeking a Lead Healthcare Platform Engineer & Compliance Expert to architect, implement, and govern the HIPAA- and HITRUST-compliant systems at the core of our platform. You’ll design enterprise-grade, cloud-native infrastructure, integrate with clinical systems, and ensure we’re audit-ready from day one. Beyond certification, this role is the long-term steward of Youtopia’s health technology ecosystem—owning lab integrations, wearables, biosensor data, health-centric data lakes, and emerging nutrition science capabilities for years to come. This is a hybrid/remote role (Mountain or Central Time preferred) with opportunities to mentor engineers and define system standards across the organization. What You’ll Own HIPAA & HITRUST Compliance Leadership - Own the design and implementation of HIPAA- and HITRUST-compliant systems. - Translate regulatory requirements into actionable engineering decisions. - Ensure continuous compliance, audit readiness, and rigorous documentation across the platform. - Lead risk assessments, security reviews, and compliance controls in collaboration with leadership.
