Open classes: - AP Physics C: Mechanics - AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism Preference working time: (Eastern Time) 7:00 am ~ 9:30 am option 1: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday option 2: Monday, Wednesday & Friday Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area; Master’s or Ph.D./EdD is preferred. - A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in the relevant subject area, with high school teaching experience considered advantageous. - Able to offer 2-3 available time slots during weekdays. - Cooperative demeanor with staff, a passion for teaching, and a flexible schedule for evenings and weekends. Your Responsibilities: - Deliver group (2-6 students) online instruction. - Utilize pre-existing teaching materials to ensure thorough comprehension of the subject matter. - Assess and grade students' in-class performance, providing constructive feedback to facilitate academic progress. - Ensure timely completion of the curriculum within designated timelines. This position requires the ability to research, analyze, and translate complex DoD financial topics into learning content for courses and credentials that support defense acquisition professionals. The selected candidate will play a critical role in shaping, reviewing, and maintaining a minimum of four DAU courses annually. Essential Functions: Curriculum Subject Matter Expertise - Serve as a primary technical resource for DAU financial management-related curriculum. - Provide strategic input during course planning, design, and execution phases. - Translate complex DoD financial topics into effective adult learning content. Learning Product Development - Guide the creation and refinement of Initial Design Strategies (IDS) and Performance Objectives. - Design interactive components (e.g., exercises, case studies, assessments) for financial training modules. - Collaborate on course storyboards that reflect realistic program management scenarios. Content Review & Accuracy Assurance - Conduct comprehensive reviews of DAU learning assets to ensure policy compliance and accuracy. - Update materials in response to changing DoD regulations and emerging financial management practices. - Recommend integration of vetted commercial training assets into DAU courseware.
