Role Description We are currently recruiting for Catastrophe Adjusters to join our WorkForce Advantage team in Canada. The successful candidate will: - Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle Property Catastrophe (CAT) claims by telephone and correspondence. - Work effectively with insureds, adjusters, clients and more. - Provide excellent customer service. - Ensure accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files. As part of the Workforce Advantage team, you would be on our roster to be contacted and placed on a contract with our clients based on availability and fit. You would be an employee of Crawford & Co. but would be working at other insurance company offices/sites (remotely). The role would be a contract position typically 3-12 months in length with the possibility of the contract being extended or being offered a permanent position with the client in the end. The salary range is $65,000 to $80,000 annually. Qualifications - Ability to investigate and evaluate claims. - Strong negotiation skills. - Excellent customer service skills. - Effective communication skills. Requirements - Experience in handling Property Catastrophe claims. - Ability to work remotely and independently. - Flexibility to be contacted for contract opportunities.
