Job Description

Senior GTM Engineer

SingleStore-LinkedIn

Role Description Do you want to help grow the fastest database in the world? We invite you to join our team and make a meaningful contribution. This role is responsible for helping evolve and execute on SingleStore’s vision, which is to be the unified data platform with the performance customers need for Enterprise AI. We are looking for someone who thrives in high-agency environments, understands B2B SaaS, and knows how to quickly run experiments to drive product qualified leads and sales pipeline. This role sits in Marketing but is deeply technical. You will drive sales efficiency and pipeline through systems, automation, and signal-based decisioning. You will contribute to the evolution of our GTM engine, a system of signals that powers how Marketing and Sales identify, prioritize, and convert opportunities. This role combines GTM automation, agentic AI, data systems, and hands-on GTM engineering. You will report to the Head of Growth Marketing and sit within the Demand Gen org. What You’ll Do - Your primary responsibility will be to drive new logos and you’ll be measured via leading indicators like AIQLs and Salesforce Opportunities. - You’ll be expected to identify opportunities to increase sales pipeline by scaling or automating GTM (aka GTM engineering) across the following areas: - Lead generation - Content marketing - SEO/GEO - Demo Apps - Events - Sales - You will own the architecture of our signal-based GTM engine, including: - Designing, building, and managing the agents and workflows - In-market intent signals: A team of AI agents, leveraged currently in Clay, that help reps’ research & target accounts - AIQLs (AI-qualified leads): our signal-based pipeline engine that has already sourced multiple opportunities, including a $400K+ closed-won deal. - GTM Pulse: weekly credit-burn and usage signal report - You’ll sit at the intersection of Growth, Marketing, Sales, and RevOps, with a lot of freedom to identify opportunities, run experiments, and ship quickly. What success looks like in 3 months - Own AIQL pipeline via Clay and scale it to the rest of lead gen. - Integrate our in-market intent signals across our GTM tools and setup alerts as they change. - Use AI agents to identify signals that increase our win rate and # of new logo SFDC opps. - Build AI & automation to increase efficiency or scale of marketing and sales. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in a technical GTM or growth role. - Hands-on experience with: - CRM and GTM tooling (e.g., Salesforce, Clay, Hubspot and related GTM tools, enrichment/prospecting platforms, workflow automation). - Building and operating automations that connect systems (i.e. APIs, integrations, data pipelines, etc). - Bonus if you have experience with a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript). - Understanding of GTM funnels, including lead/account scoring, routing, AE/BDR workflows, and sales metrics. - Basic understanding of databases. - Experience working in or understanding startups. - Good grasp of analytics and data analysis. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where curiosity and a bias for action are valued. - You should be comfortable shipping scrappy automations quickly. - If you’ve read: Traction, 1-page marketing plan, Lean Marketing, or any book you think is related, then please make this known in your application. - You read this far and can tell me what the largest fish in the world is. Why this role at SingleStore - This role directly affects pipeline, sales efficiency, and revenue by powering the systems GTM uses every day. - GTM engineering roles are rapidly growing in importance; this is an opportunity to help define how a modern, signal-based GTM motion operates at a company over $125M ARR. - SingleStore offers the fastest, most differentiated database in the market and is building the most performant platform for AI-powered applications. - We’re large enough to have the resources and stability to execute at scale, but still small enough that your work is meaningful.
