Solution Consultant – Digital Grid Management
Aspen Technology
• oversee technical aspects of Business Development for our Digital Grid Management Products • impact business development by being the trusted technical advisor of the customer • learn about customer business needs and discuss appropriate solutions and project approaches • present product capabilities and address customer inquiries during solution scoping workshops • work diligently on responding to RFPs and RFIs to qualify our offering for Utility bids • leverage inbound information to guide Sales Account Managers on creating quotes • support product Demo teams during technical contracting workshops and train to deliver simple demos yourself • create technical evaluations that contain suitable solutions for customers and clearly define expectations • occasionally travel to customer locations to support technical discussions (15% or less)
Job Requirements
- Has a background in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, or related field
- Has ~2 years of business and technical sales support experience in critical infrastructure automation software
- Loves driving the outcome of Sales operations
- Cares about energy management and wants to understand its challenges to modern software technology
