Department Brand Job Summary We are looking for an Art Director to join Filevine's Brand team and play a central role in shaping how the world sees us. In this role, you will own the visual expression of our brand across every channel and touchpoint, from integrated marketing campaigns and product launches to events, digital experiences, and sales enablement. You will be a creative force and strategic partner, bringing Filevine's brand to life in ways that are bold, cohesive, and unmistakably ours. This is a high-impact role for a designer who thinks in systems, executes with precision, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. You'll collaborate closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams, and will have the opportunity to shape and mentor a growing design function as we scale. What You'll Do Brand Identity & Visual Systems - Evolve and steward Filevine's visual brand identity, ensuring consistency and integrity across all touchpoints - Assist in maintaining a comprehensive brand design system — including typography, color, iconography, illustration, photography direction, and layout principles - Enforce brand guidelines, empowering cross-functional teams and external partners to apply the brand correctly Campaign & Content Design - Concept and execute compelling visual assets for integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, paid media, out-of-home, and print - Design materials for product launches, demand generation, thought leadership, and brand awareness initiatives - Translate complex ideas and messaging into clear, engaging visual narratives Digital & Motion Design - Design high-quality digital experiences including landing pages, web graphics, display ads, and social content - Develop motion graphics and animated assets for video, social, and presentations, bringing the brand to life through movement - Partner with web and product teams to ensure visual consistency across digital surfaces Cross-Functional Collaboration - Act as a creative partner to Marketing, Product, Sales, and Executive teams, translating their goals into polished, on-brand visual solutions - Collaborate with content strategists and copywriters to develop cohesive concepts from brief through final delivery - Partner with external agencies, photographers, videographers, and production vendors to oversee and elevate brand output Creative Leadership - Contribute to creative briefs, conceptual development, and brand strategy conversations - Provide design feedback and mentorship to junior designers and cross-functional contributors - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a high-velocity environment - Continuously raise the bar for creative quality and champion a culture of design excellence What You'll Need Required - 6+ years of professional graphic design experience, with significant time spent in-house at a technology, SaaS, or high-growth company (agency experience in addition to in-house is a plus) - A strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity systems, marketing campaigns, digital design, and multi-channel creative execution (Visual portfolio is required for consideration) - Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma - Deep understanding of typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and layout - Experience developing and maintaining brand design systems and guidelines - Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and defend creative decisions to stakeholders Preferred - Experience with motion design and animation tools (Adobe After Effects, Lottie, or similar) - Familiarity with web design principles, HTML/CSS basics, or working alongside development teams - Experience designing for B2B or enterprise technology audiences - Exposure to AI-powered design tools and an enthusiasm for integrating emerging technology into creative workflows - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience Important NoteThis position may be hybrid or remote, with regular in-person engagement expected when collaborating with the broader marketing team, attending key events, or overseeing major production efforts.
