Job Description

Engineering Team Lead

ScholarshipOwl

• Drive technical execution by participating in daily stand-ups, conducting thorough multi-stack code reviews • Act as the primary technical POC for all B2B/GTM projects • Seamlessly integrate into weekly Scrum flow • Lead Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Retro, Review, Backlog Grooming) • Lead the development and experimentation of AI agent workflows • Take full ownership of daily operations, monitoring system health and lead deliveries via rigorous data analysis

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of proven leadership specifically as a Technical Team Lead or Engineering Manager
  • Strong backend architecture foundations with extensive GCP experience (Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Datastore) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Cloud Build)
  • Excellent database querying skills, specifically with MySQL and BigQuery
  • Solid understanding of AI Agent orchestration (LLMs, Python)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Extreme comfort with context-switching and managing urgent ad-hoc requests
